What We Offer - Overview

experienceDevon offer unique tailor made itinerary planning for arts, culture or nature based holidays in Devon in the south west of England. Our bespoke itineraries take you off the beaten track for a British adventure or trip; an independent tour of North Devon’s artistic, historic and naturally beautiful places. Meet local experts and travel in the knowledge that you are not missing anything that should be on your list.

There are two different price plans depending on whether you choose our Silver or Gold package.

Prices for an itinerary start at £99 for 3 days. We also offer itineraries for any number of days from one to your chosen number.

Itinerary days numbering more than one do not have to be consecutive. It's up to you.

Silver customers receive the following:
• The customised planning of your itinerary, through communication with us by email, the website and telephone
• Choice of length of itinerary planning – see price plan for prices
• Contact via questionnaire to find out about you and help us customise your itinerary to your interests and lifestyle
• A Welcome Pack to include a copy of your itinerary, hiking information, a guide to North Devon, information on local   transportation, useful contact numbers
• A contact phone number to call us during your vacation, if you need our help
• An ‘experienceDevon’ card  to present to local businesses for discounts
• Use of other equipment - rainwear, warm jacket, body board, hiking sticks, collapsible stool, detailed maps and hiking trails. Refundable deposit required.
NB this is not a definitive list and we are happy to discuss your personal requirements.
• Booking with a guide / local expert, to personally guide you on a special topic that you are interested in i.e. birdwatching on the estuary, wildflower hunting on the Burrows, beach rock pooling, art walks and painting. We can add this to your itinerary and will advise on Guide fees. We reserve this for you and you pay the Guide directly on the day
• Arts or environmental workshops and courses – we can reserve a space for you on a workshop or course as part of your itinerary. You pay the cost of the workshop directly to the provider when you take part. We will advise if pre-payment or a deposit is required

Gold customers receive all of the Silver benefits plus:
• An orientation session upon arrival in North Devon, to welcome you and familiarise you with the locality
• Use of a cell/mobile phone if you need to contact us during your stay. Refundable deposit required
• Use of a hand-held GPS during your stay. Extra fee of £20 per 3-7 days

All Customers are entitled to the following:

Accommodation
If you would like us to help you with reserving accommodation, we can discuss your needs. We can make reservations on your behalf and you pay the accommodation provider directly when in North Devon. We specialise in staying with local artists in their own homes, or with people who are interested in the arts or the natural environment and who enjoy talking to you about these topics.
If you wish to reserve your own accommodation we can also put you in contact with local tourism officers who can help you through the process and to make your final choice.

Optional Extra
• Drop-off or collection at an unusual, or otherwise inaccessible, start or end point. Cost on request and to be agreed
