About Experience Devon - Who Are We?

experienceDevon is based in the South West of the UK. We offer customized, stress free, itinerary planning for holidays based around North Devon’s arts, culture, heritage and nature; with a budget to suit every traveller. experienceDevon’s home is the small market town of Bideford and is headed by Dave and Sadie Green.
We are a small, friendly business, providing a personal yet professional service, making us contactable and accessible.

Dave is a digital photographer and has also taught and run workshops in photography for the last 16 years. Dave’s amazing images of the North Devon coast, particularly the hidden caves on the beaches, can be seen on his website at www.greengallery.co.uk

Sadie is an experienced Arts Project Manager, having worked in this field over the past 9 years in North Devon, Northamptonshire, and Tucson, Arizona.

Dave and Sadie are frequent travellers and have experienced many countries in Europe, most of the USA including all of the States west of the Rockies, Canada and Mexico. They have a love of independent travel, always wanting to explore alone and definitely not as part of a guided tour. This has taught them to value the knowledge of a local in the Countries and places they have visited.
They gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from living in Tucson, Arizona, for a year from August 2003 to August 2004 when Dave undertook a Fulbright teaching exchange and Sadie gained experience working for arts organisations. 

It is Dave and Sadie's philosophy to approach life, people and places with curiosity and enthusiasm, and to share their knowledge and contacts with others. This enables life in North Devon to be enjoyed, not only by themselves, but also by others who choose to visit this beautiful and engaging part of England.
